Blondie

Blondie is an American rock band, founded in 1974 by singer Deborah Harry and guitarist Chris Stein. The band was a pioneer in the early American New Wave and punk scenes of the mid-1970s. Their first two albums contained strong elements of these genres, and although successful in the United Kingdom and Australia, Blondie was regarded as an underground band in the United States until the release of Parallel Lines in 1978. Over the next three years, the band achieved several hit singles and became noted for its eclectic mix of musical styles incorporating elements of disco, pop, rap, and reggae, while retaining a basic style as a New Wave band. Blondie broke up after the release of their sixth studio album The Hunter in 1982. Deborah Harry continued to pursue a solo career with varied results after taking a few years off to care for partner Chris Stein, who was diagnosed with pemphigus, a rare autoimmune disease of the skin. The band reformed in 1997, achieving renewed success and a number one single in the United Kingdom with "Maria" in 1999. The group toured and performed throughout the world during the following years, and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2006. Blondie has sold 40 million records worldwide.

Peter Criss

George Peter John Criscuola (born December 20, 1945), better known as Peter Criss, is an American drummer and singer, best known as the original drummer for the rock band Kiss. Criss established the "Catman" character for his Kiss persona. In 1980 he left Kiss and started his solo carreer. During the 1980s and early 1990s, Criss was involved with a number of bands, each usually lasting less than a year. For Criss and Kiss fans, 1995 marked a great year when he returned to the band for the Kiss Konvention. He toured with the band and played for a studio album released in 1998. Unfortunately the reunion didn't last and in 2000, in a dramatic stunt on stage, Criss left the band. At a concert in North Charleston, North Caroline, Criss destroyed his drum kit at the end of the show. While fans thought it was all part of the show, it wasn't. It was an act of frustration toward the band and his contract was abruptly ended. Despite these issues, he briefly rejoined the band one more time in 2002 for a DVD and CD release before departing once again.
