Judas Priest

Judas Priest are a heavy metal band from Birmingham, England, formed in 1969. The core line-up consists of lead vocalist Rob Halford, guitarist Glenn Tipton, bassist Ian Hill, and drummer Scott Travis. The band has gone through several drummers over the years, though Travis has held the position since 1989 and is the longest-serving. They have been cited as an influence on many heavy metal musicians and bands. Their popularity and status as one of the definitive heavy metal bands has earned them the nickname "Metal Gods" from their song of the same name. They have sold over 50 million albums worldwide. They were named the 78th greatest artist of all time by VH1 in 2010 and 2nd Greatest Metal Band by MTV (after Black Sabbath).

John Paul Jones

John Paul Jones (born John Baldwin on 3 January 1946) is an English multi-instrumentalist, composer, arranger and record producer. Best known as the bassist, mandolinist, and keyboardist for English rock band Led Zeppelin, Jones has since developed a solo career and has gained even more respect as both a musician and a producer. According to Allmusic, Jones "has left his mark on rock & roll music history as an innovative musician, arranger, and director." John Paul Jones is widely considered to be a highly influential and important bassist, keyboardist, and arranger in the history of rock music. Many music publications and magazines have ranked Jones among the best rock bassists of all time. In 2000, Guitar magazine ranked him third in the "Bassist of the Millennium" readers' poll. In October 2010, John Paul Jones was awarded a "Gold Badge Award" by The British Academy of Songwriters, Composers and Authors for his outstanding contribution to Britain’s music and entertainment industry. On 10 November 2010, he was honored with the "Outstanding Contribution Award" at the Marshall Classic Rock Roll Of Honour Awards.

Steve Vai

Steven Siro "Steve" Vai (born June 6, 1960) is a three time Grammy Award-winning American virtuoso rock guitarist, composer and producer who has sold over 15 million albums. After starting his professional career as a music transcriptionist for Frank Zappa, Vai recorded and toured in Zappa's band for two years, from 1980 to 1982. The guitarist began a solo career in 1983. Vai has been a regular touring member of the G3 Concert Tour which began in 1996. In 1999 Vai started his own record label, Favored Nations.
